Skye's Law
Little Skye Sassine was just 19months old and travelling in the rear seat of her parents car, when she suffered fatal head injuries when a getaway car driven by 19yo William Ngati crashed into their family sedan at Ingleburn on December 31, 2009.

Police had chased him for 21km reaching speeds of 160km/h and crossing on to the wrong side of the road before he eventually slammed into the back of the car Skye was travelling in.

As a result, a law was passed in parliament, whereby if a driver does not stop when directed by police, they will be charged with Skye's Law.  Please click on the link below to read more information in relation to Skye's Law.
